Virtual Asynchronous Urgent Care

Get Care Now!

So, what is asynchronous urgent care?

Asynchronous urgent care is medical care that kind of happens in the background. Instead of a live video or in-person visit, you share your symptoms through an online portal when it’s convenient for you.

A provider reviews your information shortly afterward and sends back to you with a personalized treatment plan, follow-up instructions, and any needed prescriptions — all through secure messages.

It’s a quick, flexible way to get help for common, non-emergency health issues without having to schedule a live appointment.

What are some things we can treat you for with asynchronous urgent care?

Mild upper respiratory symptoms (congestion, sore throat without red flags)

  • Uncomplicated urinary tract infection symptoms in eligible adults

  • Mild skin complaints (rashes, dermatitis, insect bites, minor wounds)

  • Conjunctivitis symptoms

  • Yeast infections or bacterial vaginosis symptoms

  • Mild gastrointestinal upset (without red flags)

  • Seasonal allergies

  • Medication refills for non-controlled, low-risk medications only (only a one month supply will be provided)

  • Work or school excuse notes

  • Travel-related minor symptoms

  • Exposure concerns (COVID, strep, flu)

  • Cold sores

  • Bug bites (without systemic symptoms)

  • Non red-flag symptoms in children over 2 years old (we unfortunately cannot see anyone younger than 2 years old at this time)

The Provider may decline to treat conditions that are borderline, unsafe, or require in-person examination.

Things we absolutely cannot see you for…

Chest pain, chest pressure, heaviness, radiating pain

  • Difficulty breathing, wheezing, shortness of breath

  • Blue, gray, or pale lips/skin

  • Sudden severe headache (“worst of life”)

  • Sudden weakness, numbness, facial droop, difficulty speaking

  • Loss of consciousness, fainting, seizures

  • Severe abdominal pain, vomiting blood, black or bloody stools

  • Persistent vomiting with dehydration

  • Sudden vision loss or double vision

  • Severe injuries, suspected fractures, significant lacerations

  • High fever with neck stiffness or rash

  • Any symptom that “feels wrong,” severe, rapidly worsening, or unsafe to wait for care

If you submit an asynchronous request containing emergency symptoms, the Provider will not treat and will direct you to seek emergency care.
